A potential tropical cyclone 2 is expected to become a tropical cyclone today and intensify during its approach to Nicaragua and Costa Rica, the US National Hurricane Center said Thursday.
This system is located approximately 65 miles (105 km) west-southwest of the northern tip of the Guajira Peninsula in Colombia and has maximum sustained winds of 40 miles per hour (65 km / h). (Report by Ashita Shivaprasad in Bangalore; edited by Toby Chopra)
