Sitcom fans will need a bunch of cash to buy this very Brady home.
The iconic 5,140-square-foot home from The Brady Bunch, which was renovated by HGTV during 2019’s A Very Brady Renovation, is up for “immediate sale,” the network said, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Turn Up! Fight Hunger initiative.

“It’s priceless,” Compass Real Estate listing agent Danny Brown told CBC’s As It Happens about the five-bedroom, five-bathroom Los Angeles-area home with an asking price of (US)$5.5 million. “It’s a piece of American sitcom history, it’s a piece of pop culture history. The next owner will be the steward of this iconic property, the second most photographed home in the United States after the White House … That’s what I’ve been told.”
HGTV made about (US)$1.9 million worth of renovations on the property during the 2019 series, including adding 2,000 square feet to the Studio City home’s original footprint and giving it a full second storey.
Fans of the TV sitcom, which ran for five seasons from 1969-74, will not be disappointed with the interior, as well. It’s a replica of the original set, from the “iconic” floating staircase to the orange-and-green kitchen and Tiger’s doghouse in the backyard.
“It will blow your mind,” Brown said. “When you’re in that house, you have a visceral reaction; it’s as if you’re … living in the show. It’s perfect.”

However, Brady Bunch diehards will need to “bring their bag of cash,” said Brown, who expects “many interested buyers” for the home.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if a bidding war ensures over the next few weeks,” he said.
