“The five-year term of the position of general manager of Recyc-Québec ends this week. And as provided for by the provisions of the decree for this position, senior officials met with Ms. Sonia Gagné a few weeks ago to inform her that her mandate will not be renewed,” said Mélina Jalbert, press secretary for the environment minister’s office.

During her years of service with the government corporation, Gagné also held the positions of vice-president performance of operations and vice-president marketing and performance of business lines on an interim basis.

In November 2022, she was named winner of the Leader of Influence Award from the Réseau des femmes d’affaires du Québec in the public or parapublic organization category.
