Regina Police Services is in the process of investigating East Regina, which caused the evacuation of Canadian Tires on Tuesday morning.

Around 9:30 am, a police officer arrested a male subject he wanted in connection with the robbery. Police went to a residence on East Houghton Road, where the suspect barricaded himself before jumping off the balcony and running to a nearby store.

Police believed that the suspect might have a weapon and began setting boundaries, asking customers and staff to leave the store.
