Chicago Bears wide receiver N'Keal Harry has been diagnosed with a sprained ankle, NFL Network reported Sunday.
Harry, 24, collapsed from an injury during team practice at his camp on Saturday. The Bears worried about the severity of the injury as he was unable to put weight on his left ankle and was helped off the field by his trainer and teammates. We plan to meet with the family to determine how long he will be out due to injury.
The Bears last month acquired Harry from the Patriots in New England in his seventh round of the 2024 draft. Harry said he was a first-round pick by the Patriots in 2019, but he didn't live up to expectations. He has 57 catches for 598 yards and only four touchdowns in 33 games over three seasons with the Patriots.
Last season, Harry had 184 receiving yards in his 12 games (four starts) and he was only able to record 12. His best season was in 2020, when he had 33 catches for 309 yards and in 14 games (9 starts) he scored 2 goals.
