Charlotte Hornets has reached an agreement with restricted free agent Cody Martin on a four-year contract worth $ 32 million, Athletic and the Charlotte Observer reported on Saturday.
Martin, 26, is considered one of Hornets' best defenders. He also recorded an average career of 7.7 points per game in Charlotte's 71 games (11 games) from 2021 to 22. His minutes jumped to the best 26.3 career per game.
The Hornets chose him in the second round of the 2019 draft, so the small forward averages 5.8 points and 3.5 rebounds in 171 career games (24 starts).
