The Richmond RCMP is seeking public assistance to locate a man who has not been seen or contacted since earlier this month.
Ahmed Ibrahim-Hussein, last seen at his parents' home in Richmond on August 1, is in need of medication for a chronic illness.
He is known to be missing for days at a time, but health officials are concerned about him, the RCMP said in a news release on Monday.

The 33-year-old man added in the release, "Apparently he frequents Vancouver's downtown East Side."

He is described as black, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 132 pounds. He has a slim build, curly black hair and brown eyes.
