Russians who don't love moldy food in the rebranded "McDonald's"

When McDonald's first came to Moscow, the Russians celebrated.

Now they are lamenting the departure of the world's most famous fast food chain.

Customers used social media to post food photos to Vkusno & Tochka, Tasty. This is a restaurant that reopened in or near Moscow when McDonald's closed in Russia.

The photo wasn't pretty. Some indicate moldy burgers and bread, while others may have insect feet in the food.

McDonald's sold all Russian restaurants to a local licensee earlier this year. Last month, about 50 stores were reopened.

Popular television celebrity and most prominent female politician of the Russian opposition, Xenia Sapchak, posted a photo.

"Vkusno&Tochka sells moldy burgers," Sobchak posted on the Telegram channel, adding: Today, at least three cases of hamburgers made from moldy bread sold to customers have been recorded.

"Two of them were for my subscribers."

Others complain that the meat is too low and the cheese sauce has expired. I am.

McDonald's first came to the Soviet Union in 1990.
