As members of legendary progressive rock band King Crimson, bassist Tony Levin and Pat Mastelotto have toured the world many times. Guitarist Markus Reuter is renowned for his instrumental skills and in-demand as a solo and session artist.
Together, the three are Stick Men.
The group takes its name partially from from the fact that Levin, whose credits include everyone from Peter Gabriel and Paul Simon to John Lennon and David Bowie, plays a unique instrument called the Chapman Stick. The instrument works both as a guitar and a bass due to its double set of strings. Reuter performs on a self-designed touch guitar, and Mastelotto’s kit includes both traditional and electronic components.
Collectively, these three have recorded on albums that have amassed global sales in excess of 100 million and should amaze and entertain in concert. This is a rare chance to see some masters at work.
