Richmond police are investigating after gunshots rang out in the East Richmond neighborhood on Thursday.

According to the RCMP, police responded shortly after 2:00 pm in the Fraserbank Place area near the border of Richmond and New Westminster. After reports of shooting.

Investigators believe the incident was a targeted shooting, but police have not disclosed what the target was.

No injuries reported at this time. Not.

A dark-colored pickup truck of his was seen fleeing the scene, according to police. Investigators also found an abandoned vehicle suspected of being involved in the incident in Surrey, said Richmond RCMP spokesman Cpl. Dennis Huang.
