WASHINGTON — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi asks lawmakers on Tuesday to pass the $430 billion climate and prescription drugs bill unchanged said he would ask. The bill was approved intact by the U.S. Senate over the weekend and is being called a historic bill.
"Our members are very happy," Pelosi said in an interview on his NBC "Today" show. "A significant part of what is in the bill is what we have been working on together in the House and Senate."
