Sudanese troops have accused Ethiopian troops of executing seven Sudanese soldiers and prisoners of war, Sudanese troops said in a statement on Sunday.
Sudanese troops also accused Ethiopia of opening the bodies of executioners to the public and vowed that there was an "appropriate response."
"This dangerous act would not be possible without a response," he said.
There was no immediate response from Ethiopian authorities to the request for comment.
Tensions between Sudan and Ethiopia have increased in recent years due to the spillover of conflict in the northern Tigray region of Ethiopia and the construction of a huge hydroelectric dam on the Blue Nile River by Ethiopia. ..
