She said the man “then started yelling racial slurs to the people he was chasing.”

The assailant fled on foot before officers arrived at the TTC station.
The incident is just the latest in a steady stream of daily violence that has been plaguing the public transit system and comes just six days after Gabriel Magalhaes, 16, was stabbed to death in a random, unprovoked attack at Keele station.
Investigators have released an image of a suspect in the Kennedy station incident hoping the public can help identify and track him down.
The suspect is described as about six-feet-tall, with a medium build, long dark hair in a ponytail, and he was unshaven. He was last seen wearing a maroon long-sleeve shirt, black pants and a black backpack.
“After consultation with the Service’s specialized Hate Crime Unit, the investigation is being treated as a suspected hate-motivated offence,” Whitehead said.
Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s identity or whereabouts is urged to call police at 416-808-4100 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-88-222-TIPS (8477).
