Teen charged with mischief after fireworks launched on TTC bus

A teen was arrested after fireworks were set off on a TTC bus earlier this week in Scarborough.

A bus was travelling northbound Tuesday in the Kingston Rd.-Guildwood Pkwy. area when a person set off fireworks inside the vehicle, which was at capacity, Toronto Police said. No injuries were reported.

A 14-year-old girl, who can’t be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was arrested and charged with mischief endangering life. She is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
