Three people died after a head-on collision in September.
On Saturday around 11:30 pm, a vehicle with three people in their 80s traveling west on Route 138 was out of the lane.
Sûreté du Québec spokesman Geneviève Bureau said the eastern pickup truck tried to avoid oncoming vehicles, but to no avail.
Two passengers, an 84-year-old woman and an 87-year-old man, were sentenced to death at the scene.
A car driver, an 80-year-old woman, was taken to a hospital where she was later declared dead.
The pickup truck driver was taken to the hospital, but his life is not believed to be at stake.
Accident reconstruction experts will try to determine the cause of the accident, Bureau said, adding that alcohol did not seem to be a factor.
