Two men dead, one woman critically injured in Eastern Townships home

Two men are dead and a woman is in critical condition after the trio were found by provincial police seriously injured and unconscious early Monday in a residence in the municipality of Windsor in the Eastern Townships.

The Sûreté du Québec arrived at the home on Crabtree St. around 6:30 a.m., after receiving reports that “detonations” had been heard coming from the area.

The three victims — all adults — were taken to a hospital, where the two men died of their injuries while the woman remained in critical condition Monday afternoon.

SQ investigators were canvassing the neighbourhood in an effort to determine the circumstances leading up to the injuries.

Provincial police were unable to immediately provide the ages of the victims or report the nature of the trio’s wounds.

The investigation is ongoing.
