Two men injured in separate shootings overnight in Montreal

They were seriously injured, but their lives are not considered at risk.

Montreal police are investigating two separate cases in which a man was hospitalized after being shot dead early on Sunday.

A man was shot following a main quarrel

At around 3:20 am, when the bar closed, two people at the nearby St-Laurent Blvd A dispute arose between young men. Milton St.

SPVM spokesperson Raphaël Bergeron said a 24-year-old man was shot following an oral quarrel. The suspect allegedly pulled out his gun and fired in the direction of the victim taken to the hospital.

The young man suffered a serious lower body injury, but his life is not considered to be at stake.

The motive for the crime is unknown. The suspect is a man in his mid-twenties who has escaped and remains in large numbers.

The man who shot the door of Côte de Neige's house

A man lives at McDonald's Avenue in Côte de Neige at around 12:40 am.

A 34-year-old man opened the door and was shot in his lower body, Burgeron said.

The victim was conscious while being taken to the hospital. Despite the seriousness of his injury, it is not believed that his life is at stake.

The motive for this shooting is also unknown.
