Shortly after midnight on Tuesday, the RCMP received reports of a vehicle being fired upon at his 76A Avenue at 14800 blocks speeding away. About 20 minutes later, the Mounties received another shooting report at 9200 Block 163 Street, about 6 kilometers away.
Bullet holes were found in both houses.
Although no one was injured, the Surrey RCMP said such incidents put residents at risk.
"According to the information we have received, two residents of this her have been targeted," he said, a spokesperson for Cpl. Vanessa Mann "But investigators are working to determine the motives behind them."
Police are trying to determine if the two shootings are linked. . One of the residents of the 76A Avenue home is known to police, Mann said.
