Washington — The United States may announce the purchase of an advanced medium to long range ground-to-air missile defense system this week. Ukraine, a source familiar with the matter, told Reuters on Sunday.
Washington is also expected to announce other security assistance to Ukraine, including additional shells and counter-battery radar to address the needs expressed by the Ukrainian Army. Sources added.
