Victoria Policearrested a man who witnessed a "rapid sequence" of sexual assaults on three women in public.
The arrest took place on Saturday, June 25, at 1100 blocks on Douglas Street.

"When police arrived, we observed men approaching a group of women and sexually assaulting them from behind," Victoria police said.
"A fourth woman and a young woman approached the police and reported that they were also attacked."

The suspect is in custody.
"This man is unknown to the attacking woman," Victoria police said in a statement.
"No woman needed treatment, but at least one was struck with enough force to bring her to the ground."
