St-Pierre Interchange

From 11:59 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, the ramp leading from eastbound Route 138 to westbound Highway 20 will be closed entirely. As of Monday, just one lane will be open on the ramp until the evening of April 7.

Highway 20

The service road (Montreal-Toronto Boulevard) in Lachine will be closed westbound between St-Jacques and des Érables Sts. from 4 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday. Vehicles in the Ville-Saint-Pierre and Lachine areas wanting to access Highway 20 westbound will need to take Victoria St. to 1st Ave.

Highway 40

Temporary reserved lanes on Highway 40 approaches to the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge will be closed for road marking on Sunday.

Route 335

A protest organized by the city of Bois-des-Filion will disrupt traffic on Louis-Joseph-Papineau Boulevard during the day on Saturday. Participants will go “fishing” at two intersections — Adolphe-Chapeau Boulevard (Route 344) at 10 a.m. and Érablière Avenue about two kilometres north at noon. The April Fools’ Day protest is against the provincial government’s expansion plans for Highway 19, which will run along the Route 335 axis and “leave a giant scar in the heart of the city,” its mayor says.

Montreal street closures

Next week

  • Décarie Expressway (Highway 15): Construction work begins Monday on a pedestrian overpass for the Royalmount development project. It is expected to continue until next year, eventually connecting the development to the De la Savane métro station. The work will require periodic closures of lanes over that period.
  • Victoria Bridge: From Monday until Thursday, between rush hours (9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.), only one lane will be available, going toward Montreal, on the Victoria Bridge, as CN performs a structural inspection.
  • Highway 30: In St-Bruno-de-Montarville, from Monday until the end of May, the ramp from Route 116 west to Highway 30 west will be closed. In Ste-Julie, Belle-Rivière Road will be closed from Monday until the beginning of September eastbound above Highway 30.
  • Route 335: In Ste-Anne-des-Plaines, work to repair the bridge over the Mascouche River will require complete closure overnight from April 3 to 4, and periodic closures afterward for about two months.
