Weekend traffic March 5-8: minor closures around Montreal

There are only a few road closures of note in Montreal this weekend.

The ramp from Highway 20 east to Route 138 west will be closed this weekend.

Montreal motorists should take note of a few closures this weekend, some of which are long-term.

St-Pierre Interchange

The ramp from eastbound Highway 20 to Route 138 west toward the Honoré-Mercier Bridge is closed from 11:59 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. The entrance after 1st Ave. toward Route 138 will be closed as a result. When open, the ramp is down to one lane until March 28.

Downtown Montreal

De la Montagne St. will be closed in both directions between St-Antoine St. W. and René-Lévesque Blvd. on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. At the same time, two of three lanes will also be closed eastbound on Notre-Dame St. E. between Panet St. and Papineau Ave.

Ongoing work in the Dorval roundabout means Highway 20 remains closed until the spring in both directions between Exit 56 (Highway 520, Dorval Ave.) and the interchange, and westbound Highway 520 is closed as of Exit 1-E (Cardinal Ave.). The roundabout itself is closed under Highway 20, but is open for eastbound and westbound traffic.
