Agriculture Minister Roland Royer says one of the challenges being addressed in the Agricultural sector is the issue of timely payment to farmers who participate in the trade market.
According to Royer, Government has earmarked five million dollars under a world bank facility in Dominica, to ensure farmers are paid within a forty-eight-hour time frame.

The agriculture minister noted there is space for Dominican products on the international trade market.
He says, DEXIA is currently conducting the necessary market research to determine how best to approach these markets.
