15 ‘Romanians’ arrested on suspicion of trafficking women into UK as TWENTY-NINE ‘victims’ found in east London


COPS have arrested 15 people on suspicion of sex trafficking - with 39 alleged victims found in East London.

Dawn raids were carried out today as cops busted a Romanian gang suspected of smuggling women into the UK to work as prostitutes.

Cops stormed 16 homes and arrested 15 people - 14 on suspicion of trafficking and slavery offences, LBC reports.

They also seized cash, drugs and a stun gun, with another man arrested in Romania in simultaneous raids.
