Business and Management students at Bishop Burton College are able to progress into a wide range of careers on completion of their studies.
Courses are designed by expert lecturers and students learn about entrepreneurship and enterprise, decision-making and negotiating skills, among other things.
Work experience placements are also used to make sure students are fully prepared for their chosen career by the time they leave college.
The college’s updated Business and Management curriculum ensures students cover subjects such as marketing, finance, recruitment and business operations.
They also learn a variety of employability skills, including time management, communication and employability skills.

Cassie studies the BTEC Level 3 in Business and is also a member of the college’s netball academy.
“I chose to come here because the college has a really good reputation. My parents both work in business and I would like a career in marketing. I’ve learned a lot and we’ve been on a lot of trips to big businesses, to see how they work.
“I also play netball at county level and the academy here was a big draw for me. The training has been really good and has helped me develop and improve as a player.”
