Shoppers will be eagerly awaiting the launch of the Boots' annual 70% off sale but the retailer is remaining tight-lipped on when it will take place.

For many customers, the Boots 70% off sale is one of the big shopping events of the year.

However, this year as we remain under a third national lockdown, things may be a bit different.

The sale is always in high demand in-store and online and Boots is typically quite generous with its deals, with products from its biggest brands reduced by 70% or in some cases even 90%.

However, with many high street stores currently closed due to lockdown, the Boots sale may be different this year.

While Boots stores remain open during lockdown, it's unclear if the sale will still go ahead in store or if it will only be available online.

A spokesperson for Boots said: "Whether the sale is set to go ahead is still being reviewed."

Usually, the Boots sale launches towards the end of January.

When is the Boots 70% off sale 2021?

Boots currently has an up to 50% off sale running, which has traditionally been boosted to 70% at the end of the month.

While the sale's start date is a closely guarded secret, last year's sale dropped on Friday, January 31, so this year's deals look to be dropping from Friday, January 29, according to
