A BRIDE has been left devastated after TUI switched her honeymoon flight - to the day of her wedding.
Natalie Taylor and Ed Parton had been counting down the days until their big day, planning on jetting off to Croatia three days later.
But the couple, from Manchester, said they were shocked when they received an email saying their September 23 flight was now three days earlier - on their wedding day.
And the bride-to-be said the unexpected change had put a "complete downer" on her wedding and honeymoon plans.
Taking to social media, Natalie, 28, said: "As most people may know, wedding planning and finding the perfect honeymoon and flights to fit in with our annual leave has taken a lot of time effort and money and now 7 weeks before they decide to change my honeymoon.
"I’m deeply upset and not sure where to go from here."
She said she had contacted TUI's customer service line, saying they were "awfully rude" and unhelpful.
The holiday package provider offered the couple £50 good will, and recommended flights out of London Gatwick for their original travel date.
But Natalie pointed out the extra cash wouldn't cover the petrol - plus the four hour trip.
Flights from Manchester to Dubrovnik are only scheduled for Fridays, with the couple unable to postpone their trip for that long.
She added: "The holiday is still booked and I’m undecided whether to take the Gatwick flights for the same day as I booked (23rd) or cancel and get a full refund on my holiday.
"I feel like this has put a complete downer on my wedding and honeymoon experience!"
A TUI spokesperson said: "We are sorry to hear the customer is unhappy with her holiday change.
"Due to operational reasons we have had to change the original flight and made customers aware as soon as possible.
"We offered a number of alternatives and Mrs Taylor decided to change her holiday to a different destination. A gesture of goodwill has been offered to all customers.
"We will be in direct contact with the customer to discuss further."
It comes after a Brit family claimed they were offered drugs "every ten minutes" on a TUI "holiday from hell" in Mexico.
Others were left in tears by unbearable drilling near their Cyprus hotel morning and night.
Which? Travel recently named Thomas Cook as the worst package holiday provider, following by TUI.
