Coronation Street spoiler: Bertie’s christening descends into chaos as Beth throws food at Ken and Claudia

BABY Bertie's christening descends into Chaos as Beth Tinker starts a food fight in Coronation Street next week.

It all kicks off in the bistro as the Underworld machinist starts lobbing canapes at Ken and Claudia.

Daniel Osbourne has to restrain Sinead Tinker as her auntie starts a fight with his dad.

We don't yet know why Beth lost her temper with the Barlow clan - but we'll find out when the scenes air next week.

Sinead  - who’s played by Katie McGlynn in the ITV soap – was diagnosed with cervical cancer last year, just after discovering she was pregnant with baby Bertie.

She was left devastated when she was told her best chance of surviving the aggressive cancer was to have a termination and start chemotherapy. But Sinead couldn’t go through with it and decided to protect her baby.

But she managed to have chemotherapy and radiotherapy after having an emergency c-section and giving birth to baby Bertie early.

She has since finished her final round of treatment, which is called Brachytherpy.

Fans had feared Sinead would be killed off after she was diagnosed last Autumn.

After she arrived home with her boyfriend and baby, in an episode last week Sinead said: "It's only just sinking in...

"I don't have to go back there and have things poked in me. Well, for now anyway.

"Now, no more cancer or hospital talk."

The actress recently renewed her Corrie contract, meaning that Sinead will be on-screen at least until 2020.

She said:  “I’m going to be here until next year. It’s a long running story. If I get to stay longer it will be amazing because Sinead is a great character.”
