EastEnders spoilers: Keanu Taylor rejects Sharon Mitchell as he returns to Walford

KEANU Taylor is going to let Sharon Mitchell have it in EastEnders when he returns to Walford.

The mechanic - who is played by actor Danny Walters in the BBC soap - will cruelly reject his ex-lover when she comes to speak to him now he's back from Spain.

Furious Keanu will lay into a devastated Sharon and blame her for everything that has happened to him since he was sent to Spain and brutally attacked.

She looks devastated by his words, and in the recently released spring trailer she cries as he tells her he hates her.

With plenty of romance, adventure and even fights fans have gone on social media to see the return of some of their favourite characters in the upcoming EastEnders storylines.

They wrote: "It's all about to kick off in Albert Square. #EastEnders. Coming Soon."

And true to their word, it looks like show bosses could be onto something as the drama looks set to be ramped up over the coming months.

The two minute long clip begins with a kiss between Kush and Bex, Sharon knocking out a drug dealer, Hunter Owen's psychological spiral coming to a head and Ruby Allen testifying against her rapists in court.

But, despite months of speculation that Sean Slater, Lola Pearce and Ben Mitchell's returns were imminent, their appearance in the clip is what left fans excited for their returns.

With Phil Mitchell's gangster enemies arriving in Albert Square following a money laundering scheme gone wrong, it seems the soap bad boy and his family pull in their resources to help out in the shape of Ben Mitchell- now played by Max Boden- and Lola Pearce, Danielle Harold.

From the clip it appears that the pair's shock arrival is met with a mixed reception and as the clip goes on it's clear that they are hiding a secret behind their intentions for the visit.

Meanwhile, Tiffany Butcher's days as a drug dealing teen are numbered as she is spotted freaking out at her friend Bernadette and is shouted at by family members Sonia Fowler and Whitney Dean.

And another shocking return seems to ruffle a few feathers in the Slater household as Sean Slater- played by Robert Kazinsky- makes an appearance for the first time since 2009 after finding out about Jean Slater's cancer diagnosis.

The clip ends with Phil Mitchell ordering Keanu Taylor to keep an eye on his daughter Louise and cuts to someone faintly screaming from the inside of a shipping container.

Following the release of the clip on social media fans immediately began sharing their excitement for the upcoming soap scenes.

One wrote: "I think we could be getting EastEnders back to its best!!"

Another commented: "Sean, Ben, Jean and Ruby. So happy to see my favs in the trailer. Exciting  #Eastenders"

A third wrote: "Kate Oates first 2 minute over trailer and it is more than awesomely epic! This is the best EastEnders trailer I've actually seen since I started watching it! So many returns and new characters to make it all go booooom!"

A fourth surprise fan added: "Well I knew lola and Ben were coming back but holy shit! Sean is coming back! Amaaaaaazing. He was ace."

And a fifth simply stated: "I screamed throughout this wholeeeee trailer, I cannot waaaaait!!!!"

The dramatic scenes come a few months afterfFormer Emmerdale and Coronation Street television producer Kate Oates joined EastEnder's and promised to stamp the former slogan - Everyone's Talking About It - right back on it where it belongs.

She said at the time: "It's more about making sure the old tag line of EastEnders - Everyone’s Talking About It - and that’s what we want to make sure is happening.

"I’m working with a lot of people who are really proud of that show and really love it and really carry it in their hearts and it’s about doing my best to bring their talents to the fore.

"I just want to make sure it’s really relevant talked about drama and unmissable."
