Good Morning Britain fans loved tuning in to find former BBC Breakfast host Bill Turnbull on their screens on Monday morning.

Bill, who has been battling prostate cancer, made his big TV return in the hosting role, after quitting the BBC rival in 2016.

He's replacing Piers Morgan on the show this week, with him recently confirming the news.

Tuning in on Monday morning, fans were super excited to see Bill back on the telly.

Some were also happy to see him and Susanna back hosting together again, with them both presenting BBC Breakfast together before her own exit in 2014.

Taking to Twitter , one fan said: "I would love to see the viewing figures this week now bill and susanna are back together! No contest!"

Another commented: "What a breath of fresh air Bill Turnbill is on #GMB Susanna Reid seems less argumentative - it’s better to view."

Bill confirmed his cancer diagnosis in 2018, while he was diagnosed at the end of the previous year.

It was reported Bill could make more appearances on GMB if all goes well this week.

Fans are already calling for him to appear more, loving his presenting with Susanna especially after it being so long since they hosted BBC Breakfast.
