EDEN HAZARD has agreed a five-year deal with Real Madrid worth £270k-a-week, according to reports in Spain.
With the return of Zideane Zidane, the new Real manager is looking for a star to lead his force, and Chelsea’s No10 is the primary target.
Spanish outlet OK Diario claim the 28-year-old winger has agreed a five-year deal after speaking directly with Zidane.
Hazard’s Stamford Bridge contract expires at the end of next season, and the Belgium international has also rejected approaches to extend his stay.
With the Blues two-year transfer ban for illegally signing young players imminent, Stamford Bridge chiefs are desperate to keep Hazard as they will be blocked from securing a replacement.
However, with the threat of losing the forward for nothing in 2020, Chelsea have set a £98million price tag - despite the player able to leave on a free transfer in a year.
Real initially lodged in a £68.5m offer to Chelsea, however, they were swiftly told the demands by the Blues.
It is understood Hazard wishes to join the Santiago Bernabeu next season, with the decision aided by his idol Zidane being in the hotseat at Real.
However, if Real cannot secure the transfer of Hazard they will turn their attention to Lyon skipper Nebil Fekir.
Fekir can play both outside or as an attacking midfielder, and with his Lyon contract expiring at the end of the season he can be afforded at £52m.
