Hull City have issued a travel update for fans attending Saturday’s FA Cup fourth round tie against Chelsea.

In recent months, there has been disruption around the KCOM Stadium on match days, with part of Walton Street currently closed for maintenance works.

The Tigers have this afternoon released a statement on the current travel issues around the ground ahead of this weekend’s match, which will be witnessed by a sell-out crowd for the time in three years.

It reads: “Fans should note that Walton Street remains closed at its junction with Longden Street and this should be factored into your journey time to the stadium. The Walton Street car park remains open and is accessible from Spring Bank West.

“With a sell-out crowd due, please allow extra time for your journey to the stadium with traffic congestion likely in the local area.”
