Hello and welcome to our live coverage of Hull City's clash with Millwall as the Tigers look to climb out of the bottom three.

Results haven't gone City's way since the restart of the Championship, with City picking up four points from their last five games, form that has seen them drop into the relegation zone.

However, Grant McCann knows a win today would see his side climb above Stoke City, who play tomorrow and Huddersfield Town, who lost Luton Town last night.

For Millwall, a spot in the play-off is still a possibility and they'll be hoping to move even closer with a win this afternoon.

We'll be reporting throughout the day to bring you all the updates from the KCOM Stadium as the Tigers take on the Lions.

Who else is in action?

Barnsley take on Wigan in a crunch match down at the bottom, with the Latics still expected to be stung with a 12-point deduction.

Middlesbrough host Bristol City today, too and City will be hoping for an away win in that one.

Stoke take on Birmingham City tomorrow afternoon.

Charlton are in action shortly

The Addicks kick off at 12.30 against Reading. They know a win would see them move four points clear of the drop zone, at least until the 3pm kick-offs get underway

Luton won last night

Luton Town moved to within just a point of Hull City in the fight to avoid relegation to League One after securing a 2-0 win away to Huddersfield Town last night.

The Hatters produced a huge result at the John Smiths Stadium this evening, boosting their hopes of avoiding the drop thanks to the second-half goals of former City youngster Sonny Bradley and midfielder Elliott Lee.

Luton have now lost only one of their last nine Championship games and this vital victory has lifted them up to 44 points, one behind the Tigers.

'Two wins can bring safety' - Grant McCann urges Hull City to seize back initiative

Grant McCann is urging his Hull City side to “stand up and be counted” as they host Millwall searching for the win needed to climb out of the Championship’s bottom three.

The Tigers fell back into the relegation zone this week when losing away to Bristol City and now have only four games to ensure they avoid a fall into League One.

A 12-point deduction facing Wigan Athletic provides City with some breathing space and moves them up a place to 21st on a revised table, but a reluctance to rely upon that penalty sees McCann targeting two wins from their remaining four games.
