I'm A Celeb's Ian Wright was unimpressed at doing yet another Bushtucker Trial in Sunday's show - so much so that he revealed he would refuse to do another one.

However, fans of the jungle show are speculating that the former footballer is playing a game in order to get more airtime.

Viewers shared online their theories that he was being 'fake' by 'pretending' he hates doing the trials - which leads to the public then vote him to tackle the gory and gross Bushtucker trials.

One cynical fan wrote onto Twitter : "@imacelebrity Is it just me in thinking that Ian Wright hammed up his earlier trials, because he knows, it will get him airtime and the more time he screams, the more people want to see him? #smartgameplay."

Ian Wright has been slammed by fans

Another added: "Anyone else thinking Ian Wright is pretending he doesn’t want to do the trials but actually does. #ImACelebrity2019 #imacelebrity #ImACeleb #imaceleb2019."

Proving that fans will keep voting to see him squirm, a third typed: "If Ian Wright keeps whining on people are going to just keep voting him to do trials."

"So Ian Wright doesn't want to do another bushtucker trial which means the public will vote for him to do the next one. I love the people of the UK. #ImACeleb" added another.

Other fans are growing tired of Ian's bad mood, which they slammed him online.

I'm A Celeb viewers are speculating he is playing a game

"Ian Wright needs to chill & enjoy the experience cos it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. He’s being bare moody over the trials for no reason imo," penned an annoyed viewer.

Another agreed: "Ian wright is a miserable b*****d, ruining the jungle experience for everyone! TRIALS ARE PART OF THE EXPERIENCE ! Get over it! "

It comes after he launched into a rant when he discovered in Saturday's show he had been voted to do the trial.

As Ian joined host Ant and Dec in the trials area, Ant and Dec joked seeing him at there was becoming a habit.

Ian joked Alan Shearer was the one voting for him as he tutted: "Shearer, man".

Twitter users also called the former footballer out for complaining about doing trials

The Hell-Evator took Ian to three different levels of a secret bunker.

Each time it stopped at a level, Ian had to get out and search for stars.

Ian managed to win seven out of a possible eleven stars which he didn't think was good enough.

The former footballer explained this was because he had set himself a target of eight stars.

The campmates cheered when Ian told them how he had done.

Ian took part in Hell-Avator on Saturday and won seven stars

Kate Garraway spoke in the Bush Telegraph about Ian's attitude when he didn't win.

“Ian wants to be a winner, seven stars is a win but for him he’s thinking about the four stars he didn’t get, not the ones he did," she said.

"He gets frustrated so when he’s feeling down I try and pick him up because when he’s happy the whole camp gets lifted.

"When he’s down it can have an effect, so I think it’s important to keep his spirits up, actually to keep everyone’s spirits up.”

He has now said he will refuse to do another trial
