Celtic star Kristoffer Ajer has been recommended to Real Madrid by his Norway team-mate Martin Odegaard, according to reports in Spain.
The Hoops centre back has regularly been linked with moves away from Parkhead this summer with his agent suggesting he would definitely be leaving the club.
Ajer denied that rumour and insisted he was focused on his Celtic career but an incredible tip from Odegaard could see him line up at the Santiago Bernabeu - according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo.
The report suggests that Odegaard has told senior staff at Real Madrid that Ajer would be a good signing, but they fear that he would rather test himself in the English Premier League.
It's also unlikely that Ajer would go to Spain and be a first pick with the likes of Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane and Eder Militao all part of Zinedine Zidane's squad.
Ajer has also been linked with Manchester City and Leicester, although Record Sport understands that Brendan Rodgers has no interest in his former player.
