Hello and welcome along to today's LIVE Hull FC blog where we will be reporting live from Anfield where the Black and Whites will be taking on Huddersfield Giants.
Having previously being held in Cardiff, Edinburgh, Manchester and Newcastle, Magic Weekend has reached Liverpool and FC will fancy their chances of picking up two points this afternoon.
Huddersfield have started to climb away from the bottom the Super League table and will be flying high in confidence after coming from behind to see off Hull KR last weekend. However, Hull can see the top two on the horizon and know a win would take them to within two points of Warrington Wolves, at least for a couple of hours.
The Black and Whites will also be flying high in confidence, having seen off Steve Price's side last week and they will be looking to build on that this afternoon in Merseyside.
We'll have all the updates from Anfield in the blog below.
The Kop is filling up nicely
That’s where the FC fans are housed this afternoon and they’ll be making some noise come kick off at 4.30pm.
Bowden back but Houghton still absent
Josh Bowden will make his return from injury for Hull FC off the bench at Magic Weekend.
The prop forward has been absent for over a year after rupturing his ACL in May 2018 but after featuring for the reserves a fortnight ago, he is fit to pull on the Black and White shirt once more this afternoon.
Bowden will start on the bench with head coach Lee Radford sticking with Mickey Paea and Scott Taylor in the front row.
Elsewhere, FC are still without skipper Danny Houghton, who misses the game against Huddersfield Giants at Anfield through a calf problem.
