Love Island fans are an observant lot.

They've picked up on a certain trend of behaviour among past islanders that hints Sophie Piper doesn't want to be with Connor Durman.

They were coupled up before being torn apart during the most recent recoupling, in which newcomer and male model Connagh Howard announced he'd chosen to pair off with Sophie.

Connor was left fuming about the whole situation, and now fans reckon Sophie doesn't actually want to be with the lad despite being torn away from him.

A fan tweeted that previous years have seen islanders share a bed with whoever they want, despite the rules of coupling.

Some fans reckon Sophie isn't interested in Connor

They say the fact that Sophie hasn't made that move shows she's not into Connor after all.

The fan wrote: "People have broken the rules of the coupling and gone into bed with people they actually like before sooo clearly Sophie just doesn't rate Connor sksks #loveisland."

Another penned: "Who else feels like Sophie doesn't care about Connor? #LoveIsland."

Winter Love Island

A relationship expert, Tim Bailes-Brown, co-founder of Blixr dating app, recently told Mirror Online before Connagh's arrival: "Sophie and Connor seemed to be one of the strongest initial couples, but some cracks have started to appear in their relatioship.

"Sophie's reaction to the imminent arrival of two new boys could certainly be considered a worrying sign.

"One of the clearest indications that someone is serious about a relationship can be empathy and a genuine willingness to consider a partner's feelings.

"Sophie's reaction could suggest that she is not really considering Connor's feelings, or she just doesn't care.

"Either way, it could indicate that she is just not that into him."
