Love Island is back and on Monday night’s episode it was time for the new Islanders to put “all their eggs in one basket” and decide who was “100% their type on paper” in the first coupling up of the new series.
Always a interesting and sometimes rather awkward process, coupling ups can lead to all sorts of drama as previous series of the hit itv2 show have proved.
And the first one of Love Island 2018 has a huge twist.
This time round it’s the girls who stepped forward for the boys and after all the decisions had been made, the villa’s first couples were:
Niall and Kendall
Wes and Laura
Eyal and Hayley
Jack and Dani
Alex and Samira
But in true Love Island style, things didn’t end there. Step forward Newcastle personal trainer Adam Collard who walked in as the sixth boy.
With only five girls, the numbers didn’t add up. And just like Jess last year, who famously stole Dom from Montana, it’s up to Adam to choose one of the other boy’s girls to couple up with.
His decision will be revealed on Tuesday night’s Love Island, which will air at 9pm on itv2.
