Love Island new girl Rebecca Gormley has had everyone talking after just a day in the villa and now fans of the show are full of opinions after noticing a mysterious patch on her leg.
The former Miss Newcastle arrived on the show on Monday night to quite a reaction from her fellow Islanders and millions of viewers at home.
The other girls in the villa are massively threatened by carer and part-time model Rebecca, especially after she said she wasn't afraid to step on any of their toes to "steal a man", while viewers at home are begging her to 'save the series' after its rather lacklustre start.
And, as well as her confidence and determination, Rebecca has come in for praise from viewers for the patch that is visible on her leg, with many of them sure it's a contraceptive patch, while others claim that it's a nicotine patch.
One reacted "So happy to see Rebecca on love island wearing a contraceptive patch, so many people don’t know they are a thing and it makes me feel a lot less self conscious about mine now," and another viewer tweeted "Not that it matters but women use contraceptives for loads more health reasons than having sex, but even if Rebecca's patch is just for having safer sex, THAT'S TOTALLY GREAT AND SENSIBLE and not indicative of her intentions for going in the villa just cos you can see it."
However, less impressed viewers have slammed Rebecca for going in wearing the patch. One tweeted "Omg Rebecca is wearing a contraception patch we all know she’s only come her for one thing," and another wrote "This Rebecca girl shouldn’t have come on love island with a contraceptive patch oh lord."
Jumping to her defence and hitting back against the negative comments, some else vented "People really trying to shame Rebecca for wearing what might be a contraceptive patch on love island...what year are we in?"
