Newcastle United face their old boss Chris Hughton in a crunch clash at St James' Park against Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.
The black and whites have had two weeks to recover from the mentally shattering defeat at Old Trafford when they threw away a 2-0 lead against Manchester United.
But they now have a less daunting encounter to get their teeth into against the the South Coast outfit.
Lee Ryder's prediction
The Magpies are 5/4 favourites to net three points at home this weekend against a Brighton side that have not won in 17 away games.
Newcastle are desperate for three points and will have to break down a side that will be more than happy with a draw.
Yoshinori Muto's fitness will be key for United with Joselu's presence in the team failing to capture the imagination of fans while Ayoze Perez has suffered a poor start to the season.
United have enough about them to get a confidence boosting win though and I expect the long wait for a win to end on Saturday night.
Andre Marriner (West Midlands)
The experienced whistler last took charge of a Toon game during the 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace earlier in the season.
Newcastle to net a win at 5/4.
