EX LIB Dem leader Nick Clegg has turned down an offer to dance on Strictly.
The politician, who last year lost his seat as MP for Sheffield Hallam, rejected the chance to follow in Ed Balls’ quick steps.
“I am not dancing on the telly,” Nick said.
“I have been approached by most of the shows, including Strictly.
He added: “But I have said no to all of them.”
Nick revealed he won’t be competing for the famous Glitter Ball trophy at the Pink News Awards in London.
He said: “It wasn’t really dancing.
“It was weird.”
Home Secretary Sajid Javid waded in, saying her moves were like “Abba’s best tribute act”, while Vince Cable said she was a “good sport”.
He added: “The fact that she can laugh at herself is to her credit.
“Will she be laughing in 12 months’ time, who knows?”
Ed Balls became a fan favourite during the 2016 series of Strictly.
He became the joke act, but still managed top last until week 10, performing a hysterical version of Gangnam Style.
The Sun revealed he had lost half a stone with his intense training regime to prepare for Strictly.
