If you're looking for some love action on your days off, you have the best chance of canoeing under the canvas.

Polls show that campers have more sex than other vacationers. No wonder they keep going.

The study even found that singles who attend religious pilgrimages and yoga retreats enter into relationships with new partners.

One of her five (18%) of those questioned for the survey said she was a happy camper who made a fuss while vacationing in a tent. Road trippers are the second most likely to be lucky, at 17%.

Third place is hotel stays (9%), followed by cruise travelers (5%).

Spokesperson David Minns said: Fresh air and being outdoors can be pretty intoxicating.

"There's something about being on the open road that leads to romance, whether it's road trips, caravan trips or even pilgrimages. It's proven to be a holiday turn-on."
