PIERS Morgan hailed Soccer Aid as the best night of his life after Kem Cetinay sealed victory for his 'Rest of the World' side with a stunning goal.
The 54-year-old Good Morning Britain host was carried aloft by his team of stars, who included Niall Horan, Line of Duty star Martin Compston and a host of footballing greats.
He shared the picture on Twitter writing: "Greatest night of my life" - with many jokingly insisting he should take over at his club Arsenal.
Kem put Piers' team, which he co-managed with Harry Redknapp, on the path to victory with a stunning goal.
Piers, a long-time critic of the Love Island contestants as "brain-dead" changed his tune after Kem's jaw-dropping shot, which was set up by Manchester United legend Eric Cantona.
The Life Stories host roared: "Suddenly I LOVE Love Island!"
Susanna Reid and Sam Allardyce's England side wound up losing on penalties - delivering a 3-1 victory to Piers' team at Stamford Bridge last night.
England took a comfortable lead at the start of the game thanks to two goals from freestyle footballer Jeremy Lynch.
However, Usain Bolt got the Rest of the World team back with a canny goal, before Kem side-stepped Chelsea legend John Terry and curled in a shot that left the match 2-2.
Comedian Lee Mack missed the penalty that gifted victory to the other side.
The match, which is staged for charity, raised a staggering £6.7 million for Unicef.
With characteristic modesty, Piers shared a picture of himself lifting the Soccer Aid shield while comparing himself to the Premier League's best managers.
He wrote: "Guardiola. Klopp. Morgan."
And if you think that's bad - Piers is sure to be absolutely unbearable in the days to come.
