Royal Ascot day four free tips: Sun Racing’s experts give you their best bet for Friday at Ascot

EXPERT EYE

OUR team have picked out their best bets for the fourth day of Royal Ascot.

You won't find a short-priced jolly in here, and hopefully a couple can land at decent odds.

Callum Calls It

Galadriel - Albany Stakes

Wesley Ward's Nayibeth and Chili Petin are the ones to beat in this and they deserve huge respect, especially with the ground drying out.

But Galadriel looks a huge price off the back of her debut effort at York, where she flew home for fourth in a decent race.

She completely blew the start, but quickly sliced through the field come the business end of the race and her sectionals were red-hot, even if slightly skew-wiffed thanks to the blown beginnings.

Trainer Kevin Ryan always runs his best ones at York and she looks sure to improve for her debut outing and the step up to six furlongs was just what the doctor ordered.

Bully's Banker

Jash - Commonwealth Cup

Look no further than Simon Crisford's marvellous sprinter here.

He just lost out to Ten Sovereigns in the Middle Park last year but he's a big horse and I expect him to reverse that form now he's got a run under his belt.

His victory on return in May has been franked after Azano then went and won in Listed company and this drop back to 6f is just what he needs.

Expect him to travel into it strongly and collar the favourite on the line.

Sun Racing's top tips for Friday

Bully: Jash 3.40

Jack: Lady Madison 5.00

Callum: Galadriel 2.30

Jack The Tipper

Lady Madison - Sandringham

This filly looks a smart one for Richard Hughes after bolting up at Windsor in good company last time.

The former master jockey clearly likes her as he is more than happy to chuck her in the deep end here - and his confidence should be noted.

She's only had three starts and is bound to improve on her return. A racing weight of 8-7 looks very nice and she has plenty of potential left over a mile.
