A driver was attacked by two thugs after a car crash in a city suburb.

The 20-year-old was driving a black Honda Jazz which appears to have been forced off the road by a Seat Leon in the Erdington area of Birmingham.

Two men got out of the Seat and an object was thrown at the Honda, smashing the window.

Footage posted online then shows one of the men striking the driver several times with what West Midlands Police believe was a stick.

As the attacker prepares to return to his car the second man comes around to the side of the Honda to join in the assault.
