STRICTLY Come Dancing fans have branded the show a "fix" after a technical glitch stopped them from voting.
The BBC One programme was forced to extend the voting time on Saturday night due to the issue, with Alex Scott and Neil Jones leaving the show last night.
But fuming viewers have flocked to social media to claim that Alex was only in the bottom two due to the glitch - insisting it had been fixed against her.
One wrote: "So the one week online voting 'has a glitch' and the two most popular are suddenly in the bottom two?"
Another seethed: "When I tried to vote last night it said I'd reached the max number of votes. I hadn't voted!
"I didn't bother to try because I didn't think it'd work. Then tonight they say 'sorry for the glitch but it didn't affect the result'. IT DID!!"
A third moaned: "Are they trying to fix the Strictly vote? I wonder who all those online 'error' messages have been voting for!"
While some couldn't get on to vote, others were receiving messages saying they had already used their votes when they hadn't.
One wrote: "Seems like they've had major issues. Eventually let me through to vote more than three times before it maxed me out, so who knows what's been counted not sure how we can trust the vote this week."
Another added: "Think (hope) I've now managed to vote 3 times but who knows. Faith in the voting knocked!"
A third shared: "#Strictly vote will be interesting tonight. First the website told me I had already voted 3 times and then allowed me a further 5 votes. Looks like lots of people having the same problem!"
The tweet read: "We are aware that there were some technical problems with the online vote this evening and apologise for that.
"The online vote is now working and voting will remain open until 9pm. #Strictly."
However many feared it was too little too late, with one writing: "Some people will have just stopped trying. Only fair thing is to allow them all through to next week. Any votes that have been successful carried over to next week. There was was meant to be 5 in the semi final anyway."
Another tweeted: "That’s not particularly helpful as people may not be reading this and may have given up on trying to vote... Do you think the result will be a fair one following these issues?"
A third agreed, writing: "How can the vote stand when there’s people all over Twitter saying they voted more than 3 times online? It’s no longer a fair vote."
Strictly's glitch comes a day after ITV show I'm a Celebrity was forced to void votes on the app after a "wording error" and only count phone votes.
