Strictly’s Catherine Tyldesley suffers eye-watering injury after accidentally rubbing Deep Heat onto her privates

TANG-OW!

STRICTLY star Catherine Tyldesley has suffered an eye-watering injury before the show starts — by accidentally rubbing Deep Heat on her private parts.

The former Corrie actress, 35, was massaging the pain-relief cream into her bruised thighs after rehearsals when she got some in between.

Posting a photo of her damaged legs on Instagram, she wrote: “I did put Deep Heat on my thighs today. Don’t do that — it migrates.

“Let’s just say I was feeling very fresh. It was very uncomfortable.”

She also tweeted: “Note to self . . . do not accidentally get DeepHeat in your ‘special places’. #fresh.”

The cream, which should never be applied to people’s privates, is advertised as providing “penetrating heat therapy”.

Catherine's slip-up came as she practised for next month’s opening shows with the other celebs and their pro dancers.

She also posted a jokey video of herself, comedian Chris Ramsey, 33, and CBBC presenter Karim Zeroual, 19, climbing into a hotel freezer to “calm our dancers’ limbs”.

Talking about how the new stars were bonding, she added: “I feel so emotional and proud of us all — we’ve all got our own hang-ups and issues.”
