Strictly’s HRVY reveals he vomited and nearly fainted before the first live show

STRICTLY Come Dancing hopeful HRVY has revealed he threw up during dress rehearsals for the first live show.

HRVY is an English YouTube star, singer, dancer, and television presenter who has been paired with Janette Manrara for the new 2020 season of the hit dancing show.

But speaking to Zoe Ball on It Takes Two on Monday he shared that "the day before in the dress runs - we did three - and I did have a little moment where I had to go to the toilet and..."

His professional partner Janette then interrupted to laugh: "He threw up!"

"I did throw up, I wasn't going to say it but I might as well be honest," he added.

"I went light headed and I said, 'I need to sit down'."

The 21-year-old and Janette were awarded 33 points in week one for their jive, leaving them top of the leaderboard.

For week two they will perform a viennese waltz.

Janette said: "He has quite a hopeless romantic side to him, and because of the song and what we are doing with the story of the whole piece and the concept, he really captures the essence of the romance of the dance.

"However, it is the first ballroom, we are putting the hold up for the first time."

The youngster has risked a fix row, though, as he admitted he's had professional dance training ahead of his show debut.

He is also being watched over by Strictly execs as he and fellow hopeful Maisie Smith have connected and are leaving flirty messages online.

It comes as execs have warned the celebs they must uphold stringent anti-Covid measures — and any physical relationship will be deemed a clear breach.

The EastEnders actress, 19, and HRVY are both single and have been caught flirting online.

A source said: “Maisie and Hrvy are being monitored by the producers after it’s become clear their connection could easily lead into a Strictly romance.

“They’re both young, single and hot and the thought is that the two of them could bring the other cast into risk if they break the guidelines and get closer.

“They have both been told, as have the rest of the cast, that kissing is off limits. Usually the Strictly cast are very tactile. Not in 2020.

“The cast have secretly named bosses the ‘passion patrol’.”
