Liz Marsland, wife of Strictly winner Kelvin Fletcher , absolutely glowed with pride as the camera caught her beaming when the result was announced.

Kelvin won this year's series of the show alongside his dancing partner Oti Mabuse, beating Emma Barton and Anton du Beke, and Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden.

Delighted Liz looked beautiful in a glittery white dress, and she stood up and clapped her hubbie for his win.

She also embraced the person next to her who looked like a family member, as they celebrated the happy news.

Earlier on in the show, Liz spoke on video about how proud she was of her husband.

"I'm just beyond proud watching Kelvin dance", she said.

Kelvin's wife beamed

"I just fall over him again and again.

"He's just mesmerising to watch."

Viewers praised Liz for taking it in her stride that a lot of viewers across the nation were lusting after her husband - not least of all Shirley Ballas, who fanned herself over "oily" Kelvin when critiquing his Rumba with his dance partner Oti Mabuse.

Kelvin and Oti performed in the final

Liz and Kelvin married in 2011 and they share two children - Marnie, three, and Milo, one.

Oti burst into tears over the news, praising Kelvin for his hard work, as Kelvin himself choked up.

She said: "I have done this show for five years and I have never ever met any celebrity who gives his heart, his soul..."

Oti and Kelvin were in tears over the win

"If something was not working we stayed in training and rehearse, and not because we wanted to win but because he genuinely loved dancing."

Kelvin also teared up as he opened up on his show experience, and his big win.

He told host Tess Daly: "I'm speechless, I did not expect that, it's just been such a privilege to be here."

Liz said she falls in love with Kelvin more every time she sees him dance

The finale was a little different this year, as just three pairings battled it out for the crown instead of the usual four.

Will Bayley's exit due to injury earlier on in the series left them a celebrity down, but they chose to just have three contestants in the final.

Each pair had to perform three routines for viewers and the judges, as they took to the dancefloor for the last time.
