The teams are out at a sun-kissed Wembley and the atmosphere is rocking as Tranmere Rovers face Newport County in the League 2 play-off final.

Tranmere have most definitely brought more fans.

They are just 90 minutes away from a possible promotion to League One.

UPDATE: Newport and Tranmere are goalless at half time in their winner-takes-all League Two play-off final at Wembley Stadium.

Rovers’ best chance of the first half fell to top-scorer James Norwood in the 25th minute, when his right-foot volley was repelled by Exiles ‘keeper Joe Day.

Newport have offered a serious threat from set pieces but Tranmere centre-backs Sid Nelson and Manny Monthe have thus far been up to the task.

The opening 45 minutes has been low on quality, with numerous stoppages. Micky Mellon will be expecting to get a bit more ‘zip’ out of his attacking players in the second half.
